Going, Going, Gone!

By John St. Sauveur

We have all heard the speeches by our parents or elders, about how life goes by so fast. Or how they talk about past experiences and what they would have done differently. You know what I’m talking about.

Why is it that most of us love to hear it, but we don’t react? When we listen to our older family members or friends talk about life’s experiences, we immerse ourselves in the story. Then after the story is over, our reactions are always the same. We respond by saying something like,… “you’re right”, “I’ll keep that in mind”, “I know, I know”. We listen, but do we hear what they are teaching us? Do we ever learn from our elders? Or do we always have to do things our way, and learn the hard way? There are many different lessons we are taught by our elders, and yes some we have to experience for ourselves no matter what.

But there is always one story or lesson that every single person in this world has heard! Choose a career that makes you happy and earns you a good living! You don’t want to struggle.

Some of us get it, but most of us don’t. It took me awhile to get it too!

Do you realize that our elders, friends, mentors, people who truly care, are all trying to steer us in the right direction. Also, that they are the “blueprint” to a complete and fulfilling lifestyle! Yes the “blueprint”, to being happy in whatever you do. This free “blueprint” is worth more than its weight in gold. There is no monetary figure you can place on the experiences we are given. Yet why is it we take this information for granted? Sure we listen in the moment, but the next day we forget all about what we been told.

For the past few years of my life, I routinely think that God has played a dirty(in a nice way) little trick on me. Some of you may not look at it this way. Since my son was born in December of 2005, I cherish each and every day with him. The older I get the more I value my life, my son’s life and the family and friends I have. And I wish I had two lives, two go-arounds. Fact is, and its a sad fact,… we don’t. We have one chance to create the most fulfilling lifestyle possible. I do believe in eternal life. But man I want to stay on this earth as long as possible. And I want to have freedom! Freedom to do what I want, when I want.

Now some of us get the picture early on in life. Some of us take the “blueprint” given to us, lay it out and act on it. Most of us just live a programmed existence. We work for someone, 40 – 50 hours a week, and get a couple days off to enjoy life. We are programmed to accept the routine as,”this is what the majority does, so I have to do it too”! Or you don’t even think about it really, and just go through life this way!

Here’s an important question that will sum it all up. Is your way of life acceptable to you? Is your existence exactly how you dreamed it would be? Did you really think ahead and say “yeah I am fine with working 40+ hours a week for the next 50 years! God I hope not.

Some people (small percentage) earn a great living and may be satisfied. But if you could improve or change it to be so much better, why wouldn’t you!!
How many people do you know that fit the “doing exactly what they want to do” lifestyle, and how many fit the “NOT doing exactly what they want to do” lifestyle? I bet its about a 95% to 5% split. Maybe worse! If you asked all of your friends and family that question, I bet the majority are not completely fulfilled.

Here’s where I can help to provide an avenue to change your life completely!

First let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am in my early 40’s, own a business, and also work as a consultant in the Information Technology industry. Although, I am slowly phasing myself out of the IT industry. I have worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, and for the last 10 years have made over a six digit yearly income. I have a little boy who is 3 years old! I started another business about 7 years ago, which has not been making much profit, but is consistently getting better.

You might say, wow sounds like a pretty good life right? He’s owns a business, works in the IT industry, has a 3 year old son, makes a six figure income. It does sound pretty good! Let me shock you a little. My life is ok. Aside from my son being the love of my life, and everyday with him is a new adventure, the rest of it is mediocre. Here’s why.

I’ve busted my butt for the last 10 years or so, trying to make a better life for myself, and for my family. I’ve worked long hours week after week, I’ve had to fly around the country, I’ve had long commutes back and forth to work, all keeping me away from my family. Yeah I’ve made good money. But when I look back at the amount of time I’ve spent away from the one’s I love, it has not been worth it! All my hard work over the years, hadn’t subsided the slightest bit. It’s not acceptable to me.

For years I knew there had to be something better out there. I just had a gut feeling. Somewhere there was a better life. I wanted to spend more time with my son. I wanted to work less, even if I didn’t make as much money. I wasn’t accepting that I had to work 50 – 60 hours a week, sometimes more with travel, to earn the living I had. I didn’t want to be away from my son for long periods of time. It just wasn’t worth it anymore.

Then one day a few short months ago my life finally changed. Let’s just say since that day, I don’t ever plan on working for someone again. I will never look back. I’m burning down the bridges I’ve built along the way. Why? Because I refuse to work in corporate America again! I refuse to conform to the “standard” way of life. And because of this I have become financially independent!

Listen, I have consulted for MAJOR corporations throughout my career. If I mentioned a few names you would recognize them right away. But I’m not going to. I don’t want to take a chance of any issues legally against me.

During these years I have seen so much crap go on, that it sickens me. I have seen CEO’s lose their jobs literally overnight. Good men and women that didn’t deserve it. I have seen middle management have to take responsibility for things out of their control and pay for it! Regular employees, ha! Your a dime a dozen! And that’s how you get treated. I myself have had to be the whipping post and take blame for something my boss(es) told me to do. Then when, you know what hits the fan, they act like they had nothing to do with it! They would protect themselves, not me. Complete B.S.! There are a few exceptions out there, but most will cover their own butts first and put a nail in you.

I went off on a little tangent there. I’d like to shift gears and get to the heart of the matter!

I’ve added this new opportunity to my other business, and I plan on continuing to grow, and grow and grow. For the last 9 months, I wake up with my son every day, eat breakfast with him, play around for a couple hours, go into work for 1230p until 530p. I set my schedule, and absolutely do not work on weekends! BEAUTIFUL!

Let me show you, how you to can develop a lifestyle designed around what’s important to you. Pure and simple business, that’s all! If you choose not to let me help, I honestly wish you luck and happiness.

Don’t let your life pass without truly being free to live it the way You want to!

Affiliate Marketing and What it Can Do For You Today

By Marion Pollan

Affiliate marketing is becoming popular and it is perhaps one of the most effective ways of making some serious money online. If this sounds interesting then read on. This article deals with presenting some great information on affiliate marketing.

You might have heard about this before. However, it is not as easy as it sounds. You will have to work and put in your time and effort. If you are looking for some easy money then this is not the place for you.

Nevertheless, if you want some genuine outcome of your labor and want to work from home then this is the job for you. Let us take a sneak peek into this whole field that is becoming the talk of the town today.

Consider John. He is just your regular next-door neighbor. He owns a good enough car and his house looks great. He even has his own pool and a great plasma TV. However, something is just different about him.

You do not see him leave for work everyday or do late night shifts. You know he is not working for some hi-fi company. Then, what does he do?

Well, you guessed it right; he works from his home as an affiliate. In other words, he sells the products or services of other people or companies and whenever he makes a sale, he earns a commission on each sale.

Of course, John is no real guy but that should not deter you or disappoint you in any way. Several people are actually making money in this way. They are working as affiliates and earning money.

Remember, I am talking about working here. This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes where you see some guy resting in a hammock on a beach and then driving his Ferrari or cruising on his boat.

You can make money through affiliate marketing; do not get me wrong here. However, you will surely have to work for each penny you earn. You have to make a sale in order to earn the commission. If you happen to sell many products then you will earn more.  Also, you must remember to go with a reliable web hosting company. There are plenty to choose from such as Bluehost or Justhost. You need to do your own research.

You can build your own site and then work for driving traffic to your website. You can do this and wait for someone to make a purchase. However, this will not let you rise above the average affiliate.

In order to succeed, you will need your own opt-in list. Every successful affiliate has his or her own. While you do need many things besides this list, this list will play an important role in your success.

You can begin your list by providing good quality content to your subscribers. This will help you create a good reputation and build relationships with your prospects. Once the trust is established, there is nothing that will stop them from buying from you.

Thus, work on it and you can succeed at this.

Learn Affiliate Marketing – Tips to Help You Get Started

By Johnson Ancheta

When you learn about affiliate marketing, you’ll discover the potential of how lucrative it can be. Affiliate marketing is the branch of internet marketing where you promote products for a company or business. You advertise the product on the internet and provide a link, which is unique to you, to the company’s website. Each time a visitor follows your link to the main website and makes a purchase, you are paid a commission.

This is a simple and inexpensive way to get started in internet marketing; not only do you not need to create a product, but you don’t have any shipping, returns or complaints to deal with either. All you need to do is promote the product and wait for the commission checks to arrive.

Commissions vary between businesses and products, so in order to make decent money you need to find those products that attract good percentage commissions. Also, if you are promoting a high-profile product that thousands of other affiliate marketers are also promoting, the competition will be very strong. In this case, your likelihood of attracting the attention you need to earn good commissions will also diminish.

Many companies that are looking for affiliates to market their products stress that you don’t need your own website. As an affiliate, you are supplied with a website, which is little more than a single page ad (called a landing page) for the product. The visitor lands on this page from your affiliate link, likes what they see and follows the link to the order page. This is an easy and simple way to learn and start out in affiliate marketing, but remember that there is potentially thousands of that same “website” being used by thousands of other affiliate marketers to attract potential buyers.

Your own website allows you to have more control over what your visitors see and lets you promote more than a single product. This spreads your advertising costs over a broader base, particularly if you choose related products or services to promote on your site. You have the freedom to promote each product in more unique ways.

It doesn’t have to be expensive to set up your own website; there are many website building programs and templates available that are inexpensive or even free. They may not be fancy, but they are certainly a great way to get started. Choosing a domain name is the next step and then finding a web host; hosting is needed to enable visitors to find your site. Start off with a basic hosting package; you can always upgrade as you become more experienced.

When you are deciding on products to promote, look for ones that pay a decent commission but don’t have a huge volume of marketers already promoting them. Often a small part of a popular niche, or subject area, will give you a better return than the more general, large niche with loads of competition. For example: the ‘weight loss’ niche is popular and very crowded, but if you specialized and targeted a small section of the niche, like ‘natural weight loss for teens’, there may be less competition and a greater potential for income.

Once you have your niche, products and website, find a variety of ways to attract ‘traffic’, or visitors, by advertising in several of the free, inexpensive or more expensive traffic methods available on the internet. Affiliate marketing is a learning process. Track your results with each product and advertising method and you are on your way to becoming a successful affiliate marketer.

Affiliate Marketing Minefield

By Tim Johnston

Are you relatively new to the Affiliate Marketing scene?

After visiting ClickBank I soon became very excited about the enormous possibilities I could see that lay ahead, and an early retirement on the horizon. So off I went buying everything I could find about how to be successful online, programs, ebooks, newsletters etc. After spending a lot of money on a lot of very different ideas I realized I wasn’t getting anywhere other than somewhat confused, overwhelmed and out of pocket. The dream of working from home and retiring early soon seemed to be fading fast. It was time to commit to a course of action, so now thanks to a great mentoring program I have a much better understanding of online marketing and on my way to success.

So from my experience here are some pointers I hope will help you on your journey to success in the world of IM.

1) Find a good Mentoring program, it took me a while and quite a few dollars before I finally settled on the one I use. Choose one maybe two programs to start with, any more than this and you will only end up getting confused and overloaded with information, then once you have settled on a program stick at it.

2) Next thing is start with one niche at a time and work at it, stay focused. A lot of people fail in this business because they aren’t getting behind their niche and promoting it as well as they could have. Niche jumping, don`t be tempted to change your niche because you just found another niche that pays better or you think it may be a better product or service. Get an income stream going with the first niche before moving on to the next.
Tip, choose a niche you have a genuine interest in especially to start with as this will keep the enthusiasm going as well.

3) Set realistic goals and strive to achieve them. Set a daily, weekly or monthly target.
It doesn’t have to be a financial goal, it may be as simple as write an Article tonight, research a Niche today or learn about AdWords this afternoon, all the little things add up to be bigger things later on. Then after a while it will all start to come together and you will see how you to can achieve income streams well above what you ever imagined..

Finally, don’t get disheartened if you can`t retire after a week of Internet Marketing. Stick at it and the success will come. Never give up.
