Are you promoting affiliate product? Do you know that cookies can make you lose your money on internet? Before I go further, I want to tell you a simple explanation about cookies. Cookies is a kind of tracking data that saved in your computer. This tracking data will tell a website about what link that sends you to them for the first time. For a better understanding, you can read the real case bellow.

Here is a real case: Let’s say that John and Sam promote the same affiliate product. Yesterday I came to john’s website and read his info about that product, and then I clicked his affiliate link. After that I was linked to the product’s website, but I bought nothing. Today, I come to Sam’s website and click his affiliate link. Then I buy the product. Who will get this money on internet? Will it be Sam, John, or me?

Of course I don’t get this “money on internet”. Both of them have a chance to get commission. If the affiliate merchant applies cookies to track their affiliate and then I buy without clear my cookies, so John get that affiliate money on internet.

However If I clear my cookies before I buy, Sam get the commission. Sam will get that money on internet if the merchant don’t use cookies tracking. You see now, cookies can determine whether you get money on internet (affiliate) or someone else.

Isn’t it an important factor for your money on internet? Get affiliate money on internet is not just about lucky factor anymore, but also about know related things about it and set them well.

So, how to make sure that you get your affiliate money on internet from your visitors (that buy from your affiliate link). You must teach them to clear their cookies before buy from your affiliate link. The fact now is: they get no advantage by clearing their cookies. It is means that they won’t do it.

The solution is: persuade them does it. How to make them do it? Give them bonuses if they clear their cookies and then buy from your link. By doing that, you won’t lose your money on internet.

How to clear cookies – if you use Firefox:

Click Tools (on the top toolbar) → clear private data → mark “cookies” → click “clear private data now”  Or Click “ctrl + shift + del” and then → mark “cookies” → click “clear private data now”

How to clear cookies – if you use Internet explorer:

Click Tools (on the top toolbar) → internet options → delete cookies → ok

How to clear cookies – if you use Opera:

Click Tools (on the top toolbar) → delete private data → detailed options →mark delete all cookies (you can unmark others choices if you just want to deletes cookies) → deletes
